Paid Surveys - Making Money With An Internet Referral Program

Many people avoid survey programs because they do not want to spend time taking paid surveys to make money. Some programs offer alternative to that.

One of the very best ways to make money with paid surveys is to use them as an Internet referral program to earn commissions. Here is what I mean by that.

Many times when people hear about paid survey opportunities they envision themselves filling out surveys to earn money. This can be time consuming and not even work out to that good of an hourly rate depending on the type of survey you take.

However the advantage to doing this is you control your income. You can take more surveys if you want to make more money.

Many survey opportunities also include reward programs where you earn points for prizes. This can be a lot of fun and a great way to win things that you might not otherwise go out and purchase for yourself.

There are survey programs that will pay you to refer new members. Some of them offer a referral fee for every new member you bring in.

Others will pay you when a new member you refer completes their first surveys. Obviously to make more money you need to refer as many members as you possibly can.

There are survey companies that will pay you a percentage of the surveys that your referral members complete on an ongoing basis. This can be a form of residual income that can pay off quite well in the future as the number of new personal referrals increase.

Some survey opportunities also include a two tier affiliate program. This means you also earn money on surveys completed by members referred by your personal referrals.

Your second level referrals can increase at a much faster rate than your personal referrals do. This alone can earn you a very good monthly income if you are willing to initially put in the hard work at first.

Some survey companies want you to purchase information from them. Many offer a membership site where you get access to information and training that you might not otherwise get.

These programs can be worth it, but you want to look closer at them before joining any. Obviously any survey membership site deserves to be rewarded for the work they have put in developing their membership program.

These are a few tips on making money and taking paid surveys. Finding programs that allow you to make money with their Internet referral program can be a very good way to make a lot more money than you might taking surveys personally yourself.

Take Your Designing Skills To The Next Level with CSS3

The flexibility and the adaptability of Cascading Style Sheets, better known as CSS, have baffled many a designers in the past. With the launch of its latest version – CSS3, designers are once again keeping their fingers crossed about the upcoming changes that may trigger a furor in the website design industry. CSS3 is coming with a number of amazing features that are all set to redefine the very concept of website design. But you need to how to capitalize its features otherwise; you might find yourself in a complex situation in coming days. Here in this article, we have tried to include some amazing features of CSS3 that you need to remain aware of:

Use of Browser-Specific Properties: – Browser-specific extensions have to be fused seamlessly with the original properties if you want to exploit the advantages of the properties of CSS3. As our existing browsers have not implemented new properties of CSS3 so far, you have no other options in your hands than to fuse these two versions of CSS properties. It is good to employ browser-specific properties and you should try to differentiate them from the standard properties. However, it has a drawback. It can lead to a complete mess-up. Use of browser specific properties means that a website will never appear identical in two different browsers but there is no reason to make them the same.

RGBA And Opacity: – RGBA is an important element of CSS3. Not only does it help to specify the color but it also helps to specify the opacity of elements precisely. However, most browsers do not support this and therefore, you need specify another color before RGBA.

Multi-Column Layout: – Now thanks to CSS3, you will be able to achieve multi-column layouts without using multiple divs for that purpose. It helps browsers to create columns by interpreting different properties and thus giving the texts a newspaper like flow that was unthinkable in the previous version of CSS.

Multiple Backgrounds: – CSS3 comes with a number of properties such as background-clip, background-origin, background-position, background-size, background-repeat, background-image etc that will allow you to use background in multiple layers. By using shorthand code, multiple backgrounds can be added easily.

Word Wrap: – An unobtrusive flow of words can be achieved by using word-wrap property. This property comes with two variants: break-word and normal. By using break-word, you will be able to break words whenever your want or wherever you want. This feature can come in handy to fit words within the given space and can stop it from overflowing. On the other hand, normal value is used whenever you want to break words at certain points.

Text Shadow: – Text shadow is not a new option since it has its existence in CSS2 but the speculation is rife that with the emergence of CSS3, the use of text-shadow will be more pervasive and more appealing like never before. This will help you to add a new dimension in your design. However, you should not compromise with the readability of the website for giving it an elegant finessing touch. Maintain ideal contrast for getting the best outcome.

Therefore, it is evident that CSS3 can help a lot to improve the workflow by allowing its users to use a number of new tags and enhanced properties. So, fasten your seatbelt to experience something different with CSS3.

Top Three Facebook Social Plugins for eCommerce

Facebook is the next Google.

By that I don’t mean that Facebook is going to release a search engine, but that it will become a more important source of traffic than Google for many brands. Not sure? Check out these truly amazing statistics about Facebook: 10 Eye-popping Facts About Facebook.

Still not convinced?

According to Hitwise, since the middle of March, Facebook overtook Google in terms of traffic. In parallel with this meteoric rise, Facebook released a new set of tools for marketers to use to optimize their websites for Facebook traffic.

Move over SEO

Facebook Social Plugins are the marketers ‘Facebook Engine Optimization’ tool kit, which can be easily deployed to drive deeper engagement on websites using Facebook Recommendations, Logins and Likes.

Of these, Facebook Like is undoubtedly high impact –one billion Likes were served in 24 hours following its launch. With Like, Facebook is effectively building an alternative index to the web which is already beginning to give Google a run for its money. As Facebook Like is deployed ever more widely around the web, Facebook’s index of the web, based on Facebook users’ Likes will grow in importance.

Facebook is highlighting some case studies with spectacular increases in referral traffic using Social Plugins:

But while many marketers have understood that Facebook Like is both important and easy to implement, there is only nascent understanding of the broader impact of these Social Plugins.

So here’s my attempt to accelerate that process.

These are the top three Facebook Social Plugins in importance for ecommerce:

* Facebook Like

The Like button lets users share pages from your site back to their Facebook profile with one click. Implementing it on your product detail pages allows your visitors to tag the page with a Like which then shows up on their wall. Depending on how you implement it, they can leave a short comment as well. Since this is at the heart of Facebook’s index, this is really important. If you don’t yet have Facebook Like implemented on your product detail pages, this should be a priority. At its simplest level, it’s just one line of HTML, and just like you optimize keywords for SEO, you need to let visitors Like your key pages.

* Facebook Recommendations

The Recommendations plugin gives users personalized suggestions for pages on your site they might like. What’s amazing is that you can test it out for your site here. Simply enter in your sites web address, and click in the grey panel somewhere (not the Get Code button) and it will show you the recommendations Facebook has already for your site. This works even if you haven’t yet implemented Facebook Like based on what your Fans are saying about you on Facebook and other social media such as Twitter (but all from a Facebook perspective).

Here is Target’s Facebook Recommendations Plugin:

Target has not implemented Like or any of the other Facebook Social Plugins (yet), but note how there are already some high quality recommendations, based on fans sharing. Also note how the top recommendation links to hot content, and specifically a product detail page with an ‘add to cart button’ inviting purchase.

* Facebook Login

The Login Button shows profile pictures of the user’s friends who have already signed up for your site in addition to a login button. Facebook Login replaces Facebook Connect, which now has over 100 million Facebook users logging in to other websites. While ecommerce websites have not been early adopters of Login, there is such a good fit that it is inevitable that Facebook Login will be everywhere in ecommerce within a year. Here’s why: 200% more site visitors will log in to their Facebook account on an ecommerce site than create an account. That means three times the number of visitors on your site that are now identified. And when an identified customer doesn’t buy, you can remarket to them, based on what they browsed, looked at in detail and abandoned.
